Did you know that your child's friendships are important to developing high-level academic skills?

1.  COMMUNICATION-  By interacting with friends, children practice the ability to participate in conversation and build the language skills needed to share what they know.
2.  COOPERATION-  The ability to work as a team to complete group projects is essential in many classrooms.  By playing with peers, this skill is worked on and reinforced in a mutually positive and fun way.
3.  PROBLEM SOLVING-  Navigating the academic world requires students to have the ability take their world knowledge, integrate it with new learning from the classroom, and formulate plans for solving whatever academic task has been placed in front of them.
