By spending a couple weeks of their summer with us, not only will your child learn key academic skills but by working 1:1 with our highly qualified teachers, they will become more confident, less frustrated, and more engaged in the learning process!
Why does our Program work?
Here at Hyperion Language and Learning Services, we understand the importance of continuous learning and enrichment, especially during the summer months when students may experience a decline in academic skills. Our Summer Learning Program is designed to provide a stimulating and supportive environment where we close the gap towards achieving grade-level reading, writing, and mathematics skills.

- Individualized Instruction: : Unlike in school where classes are often big and intervention is provided in groups, our program gives each student individual attention from skilled, certified teachers. Learning time is maximized, goals are personalized, and strong relationships are forged. The result is a big boost in confidence and rapid skill development.
- Intensive Instruction: By providing a large amount of instruction over a relatively short period of time, rapid skill gains are seen. This is what closes the gap and allows grade level skills to be achieved. We know that having learners to give up hours of their summer vacation is a very big deal but in our years of experience we have learned that because our teachers are so enthusiastic and the instruction is so effective, students see success rapidly and readily engage because they realize they are achieving their goals.
- Direct, Explicit, and Systematic Instruction: Your child's lessons will be carefully thought out after clear and specific goals have been set. Because we keep data each session, we know when to move to the next skill and provide the "just right" amount of models, support, and repetition. Concepts and procedures are taught in a step-by-step manner and new learning is connected to previously mastered skills to increase feelings of success and confidence.
Registration for our Summer Learning Academy opens on April 15th, 2025.
The program will run from July 7th through August 15th 2025.

SERVICES
Due to the fact that we always have a waiting list, it is important to note the following:
SERVICES
- Services are provided one-on-one for one hour sessions Monday through Friday.
- Services are offered on the hour from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. this year.
- If formal testing is needed this should be completed no later than mid-June to have programming in place. There will be an additional fee.
- Mid-term progress reporting and final reports will be provided for parents and schools (if requested)
Due to the fact that we always have a waiting list, it is important to note the following:
- This Summer Academy spans six weeks, running from the week of July 7th to August 15th. Participation entails enrolling your student for a minimum of two hours of sessions each week throughout the entirety of the program. Upon registration, you agree to attend all sessions and commit to full payment for the entire six-week duration, irrespective of your student's attendance.
- Should you provide vacation dates at the time of initial registration, we offer the opportunity to make up a maximum of four one-hour sessions. However, without pre-notified vacation dates, we cannot accommodate rescheduling, offer credits, or provide refunds for missed sessions.
- Tuition : Please contact us for pricing information. Once your child is registered, an invoice will be provided and you will be given a schedule for services. Full payment is due prior to the start of the academy unless prior arrangements have been made.
