Summer Learning Academy
Policies & Procedures for families enrolling in our six week summer tutoring program.
Thank you for your interest in our Summer Learning Academy. Please read the following policies carefully — by registering your student, you are agreeing to all terms outlined below, including attendance commitments and tuition obligations for the full six week program.
Enrollment & Commitment
The Summer Learning Academy runs for six weeks, from July 6 through August 14. Participation requires a minimum enrollment of two hours of tutoring per week for the full duration of the program.
Upon registration, you agree to attend all scheduled sessions and to fulfill full payment for the entire six week program, regardless of your student's attendance for any given session.
Registration constitutes your agreement to all enrollment, attendance, and tuition terms outlined on this page.
Tuition Policy
Tuition is due in full prior to the start of the program. Services are billed for the entire six week period at a rate of $60 per hour.
You will receive an invoice via Square. Payment may be made by credit card, debit card, personal check, or cash.
Example: A student enrolled for 2 hours per week will be invoiced for 12 total hours — $720 for the full program.
Attendance Policy
Consistent attendance is essential to your student's academic progress and is a core expectation of the Summer Academy. When students attend all scheduled sessions, our tutors are able to build on each lesson and ensure your student achieves the greatest results possible.
Vacation & Pre-Scheduled Absences
If you provide vacation dates at the time of initial registration, we can accommodate make-up sessions for a maximum of four one hour sessions over the course of the program.
Absences not communicated at the time of registration cannot be accommodated. We are unable to offer rescheduling, session credits, or refunds for sessions missed without advance notice.
Illness
If your child is ill and unable to attend a scheduled session, please notify Hyperion Learning as soon as possible using the contact information below.
